We are pleased to welcome new members to the Powers team, as part of our continued commitment to offering sustainable apprenticeship skills and assistance to young people in the local area.
The Powers team is growing, and we have welcomed two new faces to the team, Dan, and George. They are completing their Level 3 Geospatial Technician Apprenticeship at Cronton College.
Dan and George started their land survey journey in September this year (2022). The apprenticeship alternates between attending college for one day a week and working with the Powers team for the rest of the week.
They will be able to learn more about how to gather, handle, manage, and use geospatial data thanks to their academic studies. They’ll gain practical knowledge about every aspect of surveying covering survey technologies, the principles and limitations of measurement and the techniques used to gather spatial data, health and safety, sustainability, and legal and regulatory compliance from working with our more senior surveyors.
Dan and George have settled in really well with the whole team at Powers, and we look forward to helping them progress in their surveying journeys.
